| So for the past few weeks I've been doing quite a bit of traveling and have been away from home sweet home (California) and finally this week I managed to get some time to enjoy the local life with my pops and some relatives that flew in from NYC and Philly to visit. Last week I worked on Monday & Weds took off work on Tuesday, Thurs & Friday and went on a boating/fishing trip with the fam bam and what a long ass day that was! To make the story short, anything that could go wrong went wrong! For instance, when we were un-docking the boat, the motor wouldn't start. We managed to go to the parts store and fix the boat it ran and than later broke down again and left me and 2 other guys stranded in the middle of the delta! Everyone else was pretty much useless (can't swim or was just to chicken shit to try) so I jumped in the water with a rope and starting swimming all while holding on to a long ass rope to pull the boat (19 foot speed boat) along. What I thought would be a short swim, was FREAKING took FOREVER, luckily I was swimming along with the current otherwise that'd be so much worse. But than again I haven't had time to hit the gym in 2-3 weeks so it was a nice workout lol.
On another note I was glad I was able to spend Father's Day with my pops for the first time in god knows how many years. Ever since moving on my own to California holidays just aren't the same with out the immediate family around to spend it with. For his present I took him shopping, bought him a nice pair of dress shoe from Banana Rep. a leather belt from Express and a few other misc things.
Also on Thursday I had an appointment (which I waited close to 4 months for) with a local world renown tattooist (Orly from Humble Beginnings) we sat down and talked about what I wanted, drew out some sketches and than on Friday I came back in and did my first session. I have about 2 more sessions before I'm done with this piece but so far so good, it looks great! No I won't tell you what it is! At least not until I'm done with it. My next session is on July 15th.
All my relatives including my dad and brother went back to the East Coast yesterday and now it's Sunday and I'm bored! I guess it's back to work tomorrow *sigh*.
On another note, I've been meaning to go watch KungFu Panda but my friends are "Too Cool" to watch it. I guess they think it's childish. Ah well! I still want to watch it! So who wants to go!?!

| Lately, more so than ever I noticed myself contemplating about who I was, who I am, and who I want to be. Most who knew me throughout my child hood could probably agree when I say that I was very skinny, short, and lacked self confidence which in turn made me very shy, especially towards the opposite sex. Me SHY?!? Can you imagine that? If you didn't know me during my childhood than you probably couldn't tell. Don't worry you're still a good friend
So what changed? What happened? What made me turn in to the person I am today?...

| Man, it's been years since I've been on Xanga and a lot has changed since my last blog. A friend (Christine) today, sparked my interests again and as I was browsing her page I thought to myself; maybe it's a bout time I posted a new blog to give all my friends back east an insight on what's been going on with me ever since I left. I'll do my best to post pictures and blog from time to time. I guess for now, this is a good start, hopefully I can keep it up! :) | | |
